Donald and Hazel Winton say they?re taking in stride nightly visits of thousands of starlings, who flock together in ever-shifting formation before bedding down near their rural Newcastle home. The visits have been taking place for the past two weeks. Birds of a feather flock together, thousands of them even. These are just a few of the thousands of starlings that have made home near the backyard of Donald and Hazel Winton of Newcastle for the past two weeks.
