Dave Faoro describes his tomato-growing technique at his five-acre farm on Rock Spring Road, on the outskirts of Loomis. ?I could talk about tomatoes all day,? Faoro said. Dave Faoro cradles a ?secret? variety of tomato he plans to enter in the Aug. 22 High Hand Tomato Gathering contest. He grows 39 different varieties of tomatoes.
