At a memorial for Brad Schlimmer, a Del Oro student, friends called up Molli Bushnell to give her flowers and a hug. Schlimmer was to take out Bushnell out on a date on Saturday where he was going to ask her to the junior prom. Schlimmer passed away before the date could happen and so his friends wanted to give her flowers that he would?ve given to her at prom.

One of the most touching moments in the celebration of life for Brad Schlimmer that brought tears to most everyone was from a story by Jacob Bagnod who told everyone that Schlimmer stuck up for him in the 3rd grade from bullies. ?We?ve been friends ever since? said Bagnod.
