The Del Oro Marching band led the way during the Del Oro Spectacular on Saturday where over 30 marching bands competed in a marching and field competition. The Citrus Heights Community Marching Band starts the parade awards ceremony in the Gold Eagle Stadium on Saturday. Twenty one marching bands from around California took part in the parade competition of the 33rd Annual Del Oro Spectacular. At the awards ceremony in the Del Oro stadium, Kodee Journey on left, color guard captain, Julie Jones, band captain, Megan Gentes, assistant drum major, and the Del Oro Marching Band Drum Major Jared Capper give out the awarded trophies to schools who placed during the parade portion of the 33rd Annual Del Oro Spectacular. Kicking off the parade was The American Legion, John A. Stacker Post #775 in Loomis. The Del Oro marching band leaders lead the attending school leaders into the stadium for the parade awards ceremony.
