Media Grovels for Obama

We Love Obama

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/07/16/AR2008071602562.html

Howard Kurtz of the Washington Post found himself in the odd position of having to stand outside and look in at the Obama Campaign as Charlie Gipson, Brian Williams and Katie Couric fly first class with the Obama Campaign to Europe.

John McCain has taken three trips out of the country since his nomination and all were unaccompanied by a single network anchor.

Expect to see a week long love-fest on all three major media outlets, who are licensed to broadcast to over 70,000,000 people with our tax dollars by the way, for a single candidate.

Media bias?

Noooooooo.... what would give you that idea. The three largest news agencies in the world kissing the shoes of the Democratic nominee is not unusual or unexpected.

What if Obama makes a big mistake, they will cover it won't they? They will give it a lot of press. Take for example, Jeremiah Wright..that story got a lot of press a month ago and will never be heard about again. (oops)

What about Tony Rezko, that story ...oh wait, I guess it didn't get much press... well, anyway...I am confident that they will cover both sides of the story. One side (the good one) getting daily coverage and the other side (the bad one) getting a word here or there.

Now, what does it feel like to live in a nation controlled by a government licensed media?

Yesterday on NBC news, Meridith would ask John McCain a question, he would start to answer it, and she would cut him off with "but.... but.... but..."

I cannot recall anyone ever doing that to Obama.

I was actually impressed with McCain. He answered the questions and when the responses started to highlight some significant and positive differences between his plans/policies and Obama's, she would cut him off.

The point that Obama could not have visited Iraq had the US taken Obama's advice was a good one.

The Surge WORKED. McCain, despite his many flaws, drove the adoption of the Surge. McCain was right on that issue, and Obama was 100% wrong. The facts are the facts.

RT you think the Journal is a leftist rag. McCain spouts off about what Obama is doing wrong instead of trying to develop some meaningful rhetoric of his own. Is that because he lacks free though and only parrots what he is told? The man cannot come up with his own thoughts and when put on the spot he uses that old republican trick of misdirection. Look what the other guy is doing, don't look at me or the man behind the curtain.

The old guard is dying out and fresh blood with bold new ideas will prevail to save the nation if not the world.
