Due to the rising gas and food costs, Seniors First will need to raise its suggested donation for meals from $2.50 to $3 per meal.

Seniors First currently provides a hot noon meal five days a week to 250 homebound seniors in 22 delivery routes throughout Placer County. All meals are delivered by volunteer drivers.

Seniors First also offers a hot noon meal at one of nine senior cafes located throughout Placer County, Monday through Friday.
