Volunteers thanked for making Eggplant Festival a success

-A +A
I would like to say “Thank You” to all the great people who helped make this year’s Eggplant Festival a huge success. Without the many hours spent by our special volunteers we would not have the Loomis Eggplant Festival. There are the faithful members plus my husband, Jim, who show up every year on Friday before the festival to chalk and number the booths, set up the generator, and help move in vendors. Many volunteers arrived early, (5:30 a.m.) Saturday morning to help vendors move in and then stayed all day to do anything from picking up garbage, wiping tables, lending a hand to vendors, to working in the Little House of Eggplant. We appreciate the commitment these great citizens make to produce the Loomis Eggplant Festival. I would also like to thank the many businesses and citizens in Loomis who make it possible for the festival to be held in the depot parking lot. You are all appreciated for your involvement and patience during the festival. This year’s festival was a huge success. The weather was perfect, the venders did well and we hope all of you who attended the Eggplant Festival had a wonderful day. Carol Voyiatzes, Manager Loomis Basin Chamber of Commerce
