Del Oro High School will once again be offering an advanced performance strength and conditioning training program in June and July on the school campus. The program is open to beginning, intermediate and advanced athletes who will be trained in groups by their experience level. Each session is one- and one-half hours long and will focus on stretching, weightlifting, plyometrics, speed, agility, quickness, core strength and conditioning. The sessions run June 18-21, June 25-27, July 9-12 and July 16-19. Cost for all 15 sessions is $150. Sessions will be broken down as follows each day: Session 1: 8-9:30 a.m.; boys trying out for varsity football. Session 2: 9:15-10 45 a.m.; boys trying out for JV football. Session 3: 10:30-noon; boys trying out for frosh football. Session 4: 12:30-2 p.m.; boys entering 7th to 12th grade (non-football). Session 5: 1:45-3 p.m.; girls entering 7th to 12th grade.
