Sierra Club to hear about park rangers

Mike Lynch, an author and acting superintendent of the Auburn State Recreation Area, will present a visual history of state park rangers at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, at the Auburn Library, 350 Nevada St., in Auburn. Lynch will share stories about the men and women who provide guidance to park visitors and protect the parks' natural resources. The meeting, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Sierra Club. Call 652-7005 for more information.
