Rocklin development is another attempt to become Los Angeles

-A +A
With regard to the article concerning "Rocklin Crossing," the proposed development at I-80 and Sierra College Blvd., I am amazed that none of the opponents have dredged up the court files from the Rocklin Mall fight of 20 years ago. In terms of the environmental issues that led to the relocation of that mall, what has changed? And why is it OK to build these monstrosity stores now when the Secret Ravine watershed hasn't changed nor have any of the other EIR challenges that were valid in the Rocklin Mall case? Those records have to be retrievable and usable in this case. I suggest that the Loomis Town Council do their homework if we have any hope of slowing down or stopping this most recent example of Rocklin's attempt to become Los Angeles. Michael B. Neal Loomis
