Non-injury accident closes Horseshoe Bar Road

A two-car, non-injury accident closed a portion of Horseshoe Bar Road on Wednesday evening, according to the Placer County Sherrif’s Department. The accident occurred directly in front of the Loomis Fire Protection District station at approximately 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, according to Sargent Corie Quillinan, with the sheriff’s department. A sports utility vehicle and a pick-up truck were involved in the collision that closed Horseshoe Bar from Magnolia Street to Taylor Road while the vehicles and debris were removed. Quillinan said the accident is still under investigation.
