-A +A
The Assistance League of Greater Placer holds its annual “Bingo Round-Up” fundraiser in April, at the Blue Goose Fruit Shed Event Center in Loomis. Utilizing the expertise of Assistance League volunteers to call the games, the Mountain Mandarin Growers Association will present BINGO at 2:30 and 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Blue Goose. Mark Foley, owner of Blue Goose Produce and Events Manager for the Blue Goose Fruit Shed Event Center, facilitated the partnering with Linda Arlen, member representative for Assistance League of Greater Placer to achieve benefits for both non-profit organizations. Proceeds from the event will help the Joanne K. Neft Scholarship fund. The recipient must be a member of FFA and attend Del Oro, Placer, or Lincoln high schools. Advance tickets for the BINGO event are $20 per session and available at Blue Goose Produce in the fruit shed. Admission will be $25 at the door on Sept. 25. Tickets include one free drawing ticket for prizes. Café Zorro will offer special dishes for the event, and beverages will be available. For more information, call 652-8341.
