Loomis Library book sale includes jewelry

-A +A
A used jewelry sale will be combined with the quarterly Loomis Friends of the Library used book sale, taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 24; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 25. Jewelry and book donations are welcomed, and may be left at the library during business hours. Proceeds from the sales help purchase books for the Loomis branch, recently purchased a new refrigerator for the kitchen, buy furniture as needed, buy supplies for such things as the summer reading program, cover various items not funded by Placer County, and go into a fund for future library expansion. Friends of the Library will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 23, in the Jessie Helms room. All interested men and women are invited to attend, according to Thomas Seth, president.
