A Del Oro High School All Class Reunion is from 6:30 to 10 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Rocklin Park Hotel. The event is open to all alumni and Golden Eagle supporters. The cost is $25 per person and includes food, entertainment and a drink ticket. Proceeds benefit the new Del Oro Aquatic Center. Tickets are on sale at football games and in the Del Oro office.

A craft fair to benefit Del Oro High School’s grad night is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, in the school cafeteria. Santa will be on hand from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for photos, the school student store will be open for spirit items and homemade soup, chili, muffins and desserts will be available. Sunday

MandaRUN 2012 is Sunday, Nov. 18 and features a half-marathon, 10K and 5K run. The half-marathon starts at 8 a.m. at the Auburn Fairgrounds and ends in downtown Loomis. The 5K and 10K start at 9 a.m., in downtown Loomis, online registration closes at 3 p.m., on Nov. 17.  Same-day registration for the 5K and 10K begins at 7:30 a.m. on race day. The races are presented by the Loomis Basin Education Foundation and benefit the students of the Loomis Union School District. Donate to the Loomis Basin Christmas Basket program and help local families in need. Checks, non-perishable food, new and unwrapped toys and other gift items are being sought. Collection boxes are located at the Loomis Chamber of Commerce; Loomis, Penryn and Newcastle fire stations; Blue Goose Produce; and The Loomis News office. Checks can be made out to Loomis Basin Christmas Baskets.

Crafters and vendors are wanted for an arts and crafts boutique during the Loomis Basin Holiday Home Tour from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at H. Clarke Powers Elementary School. Booth spaces are $30. Friends of the Loomis Library’s 37th annual Christmas Craft Faire is from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Veterans Hall. To reserve a table, contact Beth Enright at 652-7061.

The Loomis Basin United Church of Christ’s annual Christmas Breakfast is from 7:30 to 11:30 a,m., Saturday, Dec. 1, at 6440 King Road.  Enjoy a breakfast of pancakes, ham and more in a festive holiday setting with music, bake sales, raffle and silent auction. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for children 12 and older. Children under 12 eat free. All adult tickets are automatically entered for a drawing for a $50 gift card. Del Oro High School hosts Walk for Wishes to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation from 8 a.m. to noon, on Saturday, Dec. 1. Pre-registration is $25 and $30 at the door, and participants can drop in to run/walk the track. Donations are accepted or supporters can sponsor laps. For more information, call 652-7243.

Del Oro High School metal shop is holding a Holiday Boutique from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, December 1, in the school cafeteria.

The Town of Loomis will hold a free tree lighting event, from 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Loomis Train Depot. Free hay rides, ornament making, face painting, hot apple cider, cookies and popcorn will be available. Entertainment includes a puppet show, dancers, children’s choir, live music and caroling. Volunteer to help fill food boxes for the Loomis Basin Christmas Basket program from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Dec. 8, at Doupnik Manufacturing, 3237 Rippey Road.

The Loomis Basin Holiday Home Tour is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8 and benefits the Loomis Basin Education Foundation and the students of the Loomis Union School District. View local homes all decked out for the holidays and enjoy a $15 buffet lunch that includes a sandwich bar, salads, soups, dessert and beverages. A free craft faire and art show is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at H. Clarke Powers Elementary School. Tour tickets are $25 in advance and $30 on tour day. Tickets go on sale Nov. 1 in Loomis at High Hand Gallery, Blue Goose Produce and at the Flower Farm Nursery; in Rocklin at Pottery World; in Roseville at California Backyard; and in Auburn at Eisley Nursery. The second annual Winter Music Festival is from 6:30 to 11 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Blue Goose Event Center. The event is presented by Be the Change and benefits the Gathering Inn and Gold Country Wildlife Rescue. Entertainment includes Garrat Wilkin; Steve Price and Larry Antonino from Pablo Cruise; Frank Hannon, from TESLA; Randy Scoles and many others and will include a tribute to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Food, drinks, beer, wine, cocktails and raffle items will be available for purchase. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Blue Goose Produce or online at www.bethechange.cc, or call 230-8129.
