Thursday A special story time and outdoor activity from Placer Nature Center highlights the free children?s program at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 21 at the Loomis Library. Signups for summer swim lesson at the Del Oro High School pool, for beginning to advanced swimmers, are at the Loomis Basin Chamber of Commerce, on Mondays to Thursdays, 6090 Horseshoe Bar Road. Two-week lesson sessions begin on July 2 and July 17. The 30-minute lessons are at 10, 10:30, 11 and 11:30 a.m. Registration is on a first-come basis. Sessions of Isaac Tennis Camp, for children age 5 and up, will be held July 2, and July 16, at Del Oro High School. The 4-day camps for 5- to 7-year-olds are at 8 a.m. and cost $65; for 7- to 11-year-olds are from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and cost $95; for 11- to 13-year-olds are from 8 to 11 a.m., and cost $160; and for high school students are from 8 to 11 a.m. and cost $160. From the Gridiron To The Green is the slogan for the 1st Annual Del Oro Football Golf Tournament, on Monday, July 2, at Sierra View Country Club, in Roseville. Registration is at 4 p.m., with a shotgun start at 5 p.m. The twilight nine-hole scramble is followed at 8 p.m. by a social hour and dinner.
