Help strike out drug abuse

Enjoy a night of family fun while supporting a vital drug awareness program for youth from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Strikes Family Entertainment Center, located at 5681 Lonetree Boulevard in Rocklin. The evening’s activities will include bowling, pizza, arcade games and more for the whole family. There will also be be a silent auction. The event is a fundraiser for DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) and sponsored by the Placer County Sheriff's Office in conjunctoin with Strikes Family Entertainment. DARE is a highly effective national program that uses experienced law enforcement officers to privide elementary school children with the tools they need to cope with the pressures of drugs, tobacco and alcohol. Tickets are $42 for a Family-fun Pack, which includes an hour of bowling and shoe rental for 6, a 16" cheese pizza, unlimited soda and $5 arcade card. The Family Bowling Pack is $25 and includes and hour of bowling and shoe rental for 6, plus a $5 arcade card.
