Officials have released the name of a Granite Bay woman who was involved in a rollover accident on Douglas Boulevard Tuesday. Jessica Baum, 21, was transported to Sutter Roseville in critical condition after her vehicle rolled over near Seeno Avenue around 3 p.m. Baum was driving a white Toyota 4Runner westbound on Douglas Boulevard and came up suddenly on stopped traffic, according to the California Highway Patrol. The vehicle swerved to the left, went into a skid, hit the center divider and rolled onto its left side in the eastbound lanes of traffic, the CHP reports. Baum, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and sustained major injuries, according to CHP spokesman David Martinez. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, Martinez said. According to a witness who did not give her name, the victim was conscious when she was transported to the hospital. As of Thursday afternoon, Baum’s condition was not readily available. ~ Toby Lewis
