Del Oro’s freshman football team surrendered its first points of the season on defense but the Golden Eagles still managed to emerge with a 32-6 win over Enochs of Modesto on Thursday, Oct. 2
Tanner Huber rushed for three touchdowns and Jake Jackson recorded three quarterback sacks and a pass interception along with adding another score as the Golden Eagles romped.
Skylar Rader also scored for the Golden Eagles (3-0) when he fell on an Enochs fumble in the end zone.
Huber, Jackson, Ron Warner and Nick O’Sullivan keyed the Eagles defense which built a 26-0 lead at halftime.
Del Oro travels to Merced this afternoon for a 4 p.m. battle.
