Del Oro will send 14 wrestlers to this week’s CIF Sac-Joaquin Div. II championship tournament, which will be hosted by the Golden Eagles on Friday and Saturday. Wrestling begins each day at 11 a.m. with admission $9 for adults and $5 for students. The top six wrestlers in each weight class will advance to the CIF Masters tournament Feb. 23 to 24, in Stockton. Here’s a list of the Del Oro wrestlers and their finishes at last week’s Sierra Foothill League qualifying tournament. Del Oro’s first-place finishing wrestlers at the SFL meet included Zach Ruybal at 113 pounds; Austin Branum at 152 pounds; and Dylan Kainrath at 170.
