Four Golden Eagles earn all-SFL hoop honors

League champion Granite Bay dominated the all-Sierra Foothill League boys basketball team selections as six different Grizzlies earned all-league honors.

Granite Bay’s Scott Romuk was named as the league’s Most Valuable Player. Romuk was joined on the all-SFL first team by teammates Jacob King, Kendrick Jackson and Anthony Pedersen.

In addition, named from Granite Bay on the second team were Daniel Romero and Sheeon Bradford.

Four Del Oro players earned honors. They included first team picks Trevor Pistochini, a senior guard, and Danny Becker, a junior guard.

Named to the second team for the Golden Eagles were Connor Drake, a junior, and Collin Mitchell, a senior.

Other first team picks included Devin Moss of Rocklin, Noah Blackwell and Tyler Milani of Woodcreek, Matt Tawlks of Roseville and Lukas Vojak of Nevada Union.
