The Fall Gathering, scheduled for Nov. 11 to 14 at the Blue Goose Fruit Shed in Loomis, will be presented The Cowpoke Foundation, a new non-profit foundation formed by Bert and Carol Braun. The foundation is teaming up with “Tough Enough to Wear Pink,” a national breast cancer awareness organization, the Loomis Lions Club, High Hand Nursery and Conservatory, and Soroptimist International of Loomis Basin in presenting this year’s cowboy poetry and music event. This year's beneficiaries will include the South Placer Heritage Foundation, for the Blue Goose Fruit Shed Renovation Project; the Loomis Union School District Arts Program, and the Breast Health Center at Sutter Roseville, which has been chosen as this year’s beneficiary to receive Tough Enough to Wear Pink funds.
