The Del Oro High wrestling team stretched its Sierra Foothill League winning streak to 23 matches, barely holding off Granite Bay in Loomis. The Golden Eagles got four pins and two major decisions to get the win, despite losing eight of the 14 matches. Danny Jacoshenk won by pin at 119 pounds and his brother Jimmy Jacoshenk won 11-2 at 130. Austin Branum had a major decision at 140 and Foster Fretland had a pin at 160. Wrestling up two weight classes, Jesse Stafford had a pin at 171 and Shane Plummer got a key pin at 215. Del Oro (3-0 SFL) will face Woodcreek on Tuesday.
