This event will be a physically challenging, with running activities, and also fun and unique team challenges. All participants will receive free shirt, and there are prizes for the first three teams. On Dec. 10, Del Oro High School students had the opportunity to attend a Winter Adventure Race that included running activities and team competitions. Senior Jenni Hendricks decided that for her senior project she wanted to plan a project that would involve people working together while doing something that is fun and physically challenging. During her freshmen year she participated in an adventure race that would soon later inspire her to do another race for her own senior project. “I remember the race being really fun and it brought me closer with some friends. it was also a great work out and I wanted to be responsible for creating that memory for some students,” she said. In order to create a winter-like atmosphere Jenni decided to create activities that would encompass the qualities of a cold winter season. She decided on snowman building, caroling, sleds and running. “All of the events have been altered in a way to challenge you physically but still allow you to have fun and work as a team,” she said
