Del Oro girls place 12th at state meet

Del Oro High School’s girls cross-country team capped a fine 2010 season last Saturday by competing in the California Interscholastic Federation’s State Championships meet held at Woodward Park in Fresno. The Lady Eagles, who were the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Div. II champions, finished 12th as a team. The Lady Eagles totaled 345 points. The Div. II winner was Saugus from the Southern Section with 25 points. Mira Costa, another Southern Section school, was second with 62 points. Here are Del Oro’s state meet results: 28.
