Junior Brianna Ruiz and Stephanie Geyer led the Del Oro High girls in a rout of Granite Bay in Loomis Wednesday night. Ruiz scored 21 points and had seven steals as the Golden Eagles beat the Grizzlies 54-30. Geyer added 17 points and 15 rebounds. Natalie Sohn chipped in with five points and six boards as Del Oro improved to 2-0 in the Sierra Foothill League. Del Oro will face Roseville Friday on the road.
