Senior Ben Consulo pitched six outstanding innings and Mason Magleby slammed the door in the seventh as Del Oro High edged Woodcreek 3-2 Tuesday afternoon in Loomis. The Golden Eagles put up one run in the first, one in the third to tie the game and one in the fifth to take the lead. Matt Leak blasted a solo home run and had an RBI-single to lead Del Oro (4-2 overall, 2-0 Sierra Foothill League) at the plate. Consulo struck out three and walked zero while giving up seven hits. Magleby struck out all three batters he faced to finish the game. Forest Lake 18, Woodland Christian 1 at Lake of the Pines — The Falcons hammered the Cardinals as Taylor Phillips pitched three shutout innings with seven strikeouts. Aaron Anderson went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored for Forest Lake (5-1 overall, 3-0 Central Valley Christian League). Luke Taylor was 2-for-4 with three runs and Phillips finished 2-for-4 with four runs scored and three steals.
