Daylight Savings Time ends Sunday, Nov. 2

Change clocks Saturday night
-A +A
It’s time to remember the adage “Spring forward ¬– Fall back” because Daylight Savings Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday morning, Nov. 2. That’s when clocks should be turned back one hour, making it 1 a.m. standard time. It helps to change clocks Saturday night, so that you start your Sunday “on time.” To some, the end of Daylight Savings Time might mean they’re getting an extra hour to sleep, do work or play. Enjoy it, because come March 8, 2009, clocks will be moved forward one hour, taking back that “extra” hour. The National Fire Protection Association and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission also recommends consumers change the battery in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
