The Yolo County Coroner’s Office is now looking into blood toxicology results in the death of a UC Davis student from Auburn. Yolo County Chief Deputy Coroner Robert LaBrash said that his office expects to report its findings within the next two weeks into the death of Alexander Nelson Goldschneider. Goldschneider, 21, a junior at the school, was found dead in his dorm room at Castillian Hall in Davis. Authorities said an initial examination found no evidence of foul play and no visible bruises on the body. An autopsy reinforced that conclusion. Goldschneider was in his first year at the school after two years in junior college. He was a Bear River High School graduate who was studying human development. - Gus Thomson
