St. Mark?s Easter season schedule During the Easter season, St. Mark?s Anglican Church has expanded its service schedule to include a weekly Evensong service at 7 p.m. every Saturday evening, a 10 a.m. Holy Communion and Sunday School every Sunday morning, and a variety of special services on Wednesday. The church is located at St. Mark?s Anglican Church, 5983 Webb Street, in Loomis. Loomis Egg Hunt on April 11 The Loomis Community Egg Hunt takes place at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at H. Clarke Powers Elementary School, located off Humphrey Road. In addition to the egg hunt, there will be games and raffles. Hope Lutheran announces Easter services Easter servies at Hope Lutheran Church will take place at 8 and 10:30 a.m. Easter Sunday, April 12. A continental Easter breakfast will be served between services and an Easter egg hunt for young children will be held at 9:30 a.m. A full Easter breakfast will be srved after the 10:30 a.m. service. The church will also celebrate Maundy Thursday with a worship service at 7 p.m. April 9 and Good Friday with a worship service to be held at 7 p.m. April 10. Hope Lutheran Church is located just off Penryn Road near Interstate 80 at 7117 Hope Way in Penryn. Chamber to host ?Viva Las Loomis? The Loomis Basin Chamber of Commerce presents ?Viva Las Loomis? at 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 17, at the Blue Goose. The showcase will feature international recording artist Keith Williams, the Comedy Action Team, magician Michael Rappa, Dancing with the Sac Stars. Tickets are $50 per person; call the chamber at 652-7252. Democrats to meet in Loomis Five Cities Democratic Club, serving Loomis, Penryn, Newcastle, Ophir, and Lincoln, will meet from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at Round Table Pizza in Loomis. It?s community yard sale time Make plans to participate in the annual Loomis Community Yard Sale, which will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 25.
