Cioppino is on the dinner menu

The 18th Annual Cioppino Dinner, sponsored by American Legion John A. Stacker Post 775, will be held Saturday, Feb. 5, at the Blue Goose Fruit Shed. Doors open at 6 p.m.; serving for the family-style dinner, which includes salad, bread, pasta and cioppino, begins at 7 p.m. For the dinner, the Legionnaires use recipes developed by the late Charlie Ross and his wife, Shirley, who continues to assist each year.
