Chamber event raises $3,000 for Christmas food basket program

Scott Paris, owner of the High Hand Nursery, Café & Conservancy hosted the Loomis Basin Chamber of Commerce holiday mixer on Dec. 4. According to Henry Schneider, Chamber past president, raffles during the mixer generated over $3,000 that will be donated to the Loomis Basin Christmas Basket Program. Those wishing to make a cash donation to provide food and toys for area needy can call the Doupnik Manufacturing office at 652-9291, extension 110.
