Brandon Thomson, of Loomis, graduated from the California Regional Fire Academy on July 19 during a ceremony held at the Crest Theatre in Sacramento. The 2007 Del Oro High School graduate was presented his certificate and badge by his father, Bryan Thomson, a 25-year-veteran with the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Department.
