Brieanne Borojo of Loomis has completed California Highway Patrol cadet training. Boroja was assigned to duty at the CHP?s San Francisco Area office. Boroja is a 2001 Del Oro High School graduate. She graduated from Sierra College with an Associate of Arts degree in administration of justice and worked as a bartender prior to joining the CHP. Cadet training for Boroja included vehicle patrol, accident investigation, first aid, apprehension, and arrest of suspected violators, including those who drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Training at the academy also included traffic control, emergency scene management, recovery of stolen vehicles, assisting the motoring public, issuing citations and report writing. Cadets also learn the various codes, including the vehicle code, penal code, and health and safety code.
