Board aide charged with theft involved in theater

A top board aide arrested on charges of stealing over $15,000 from the District Attorney’s campaign account has been involved in local theater productions. As of Friday, Brian Jagger was listed as Supervisor Kirk Uhler’s district director on Placer County’s website, following his arrest by the Placer County Sheriff’s Office. According to his Facebook page, Jagger lives in Roseville. He has 672 friends listed on his Facebook profile, including Uhler. He is also listed as a current theater member on Placer Community Theater’s website. The website includes a bio of Jagger in which he answers seven questions about himself. When asked what information he’d like to share about his vocation, Jagger wrote “Field Representative, Placer County District 4 Supervisor Kirk Uhler.” He also wrote that he has been married for 10 years and has two children. Jagger also listed performances in plays through Auburn’s Music & More and Placer Adult School as previous theater accomplishments. When asked what aspect of theater is most rewarding to him, Jagger wrote “The ability to allow people to take a mental break from life and enjoy an acted out story. I am also particularly fond of making people laugh.” Jagger also has a Twitter account. His most recent post was as of Nov. 12 and said “I see snow!” In his Twitter bio, Jagger writes, “I am a political hack :), comedian and writer. On Leadership Council of Ignite, the south Placer next gen. leaders group and VP of Placer Comm. Theater.” His account has 150 followers.
