Marcella Baker named to dean’s list
Simpson University named Marcella Baker of Auburn, majoring in cross-cultural studies and Spanish, is among more than 240 students named to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must have a semester grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.

Michaela Bylsma named to dean’s list
Wheaton College student Michaela Bylsma of Cool was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester.
Bylsma has also been inducted into Wheaton’s Scholastic Honor Society.
The honor was announced at Wheaton College’s honors convocation.
Selection is made for the Scholastic Honor Society on the basis of high scholarship, Christian maturity, and general promise. Bylsma was recognized for excellence in the study of philosophy.

Zachary Douglas graduates from Azusa Pacific University
Zachary Douglas of Newcastle graduated from Azusa Pacific University on Sat., May 7, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. He joined approximately 2,000 graduates at the spring commencement ceremonies.

Amy Elmgren graduates from Columbia Law School
Amy Elmgren, daughter of Ed and Vicki Elmgren graduated from Columbia Law School with a JD degree on May 19. Elmgren is a 2005 graduate of Placer High
School.

Ellie Louise Feis named to dean’s list
Ellie Louise Feis, a junior from Auburn is one of more than 4,100 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students who have been named to the dean’s list in the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. The minimum qualification is a 3.7 grade-point average is based on a four-point scale and a minimum of 12 or more graded semester hours

Hannah George named to dean’s list
Hannah George of Auburn has been named to University of Delaware’s dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester. The dean’s list, an honor conferred at the end of the fall and spring semesters, recognizes outstanding academic performance by undergraduate students.

Lindsey Guevel named to dean’s list
Lindsey Guevel of Auburn made the Dean’s List at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York for the spring 2016 semester. Guevel is studying biomedical sciences.
Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for dean’s list if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “incomplete”, “D” or “F”; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Ryan Hill-Falkenthal named to dean’s list
Ryan Hill-Falkenthal of Auburn has been named to the D’Youville College deans list. To qualify for the honor, the student must maintain a 3.40 quality point average or above for the previous semester. This indicates superior academic performance and becomes a permanent part of the student’s college record.

Jessica Kostka named to dean’s list
Jessica Kostka of Auburn has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Lewis & Clark College.  The dean’s list honors academic achievement each semester for students who are enrolled full time and achieve a GPA of 3.70 or higher, based on 12 graded semester credits.  
 
Edward Land named to dean’s list
Edward Lang of Newcastle, majoring in geology, is one of over 450 South Dakota School of Mines & Technology students who were named to the dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester. In order to merit a spot on the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for the semester.

Adam C. Lind earns degree from Boston University
Boston University awarded academic degrees to 6,220 students in May 2016. Among the graduates was Adam C. Lind of Penryn, who received a Master of Science in International Marketing Management.

Erik Anders Lolland named to dean’s list, receives degree
Erik Anders Lolland, of Auburn, a senior majoring in political science, in the College of Arts and Sciences, is one of more than 4,100 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students who have been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester of the 2015-16.
Lolland was among nearly 2,800 graduates who received degrees in historic ceremonies May 6 and 7. Lolland earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Arts and Sciences.

Zachary Lucas of Auburn graduated from Azusa Pacific University on Sat., May 7, 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in physics He joined approximately 2,000 graduates at the spring commencement ceremonies.

Beata Louise Mackenroth named to dean’s list
Beata Louise Mackenroth of Newcastle, was one of 5,630 students named to the 2016 spring semester Deans List at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, including 2,043 students named to the President’s Honor Roll for all “A” grades.
 
Donald Negus named to dean’s list, graduates from Simpson University
Simpson University named Donald Negus of Auburn, majoring in pastoral studies, among more than 240 students named to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must have a semester grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.
Donald Negus of Auburn, CA, graduated April 30, 2016 from Simpson University, Redding, CA with a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Studies.

Tara Randall named to dean’s honor list
Tara Randall of Auburn has been named to the dean’s honor list at the College of Engineering at University of California, Davis, for spring quarter 2016. Qualification with a GPA 3.5 and a minimum of 12 units in a specific quarter or higher places Tara among the top 16 percent in her class level in the College of Engineering.

Courtney Rundel receives scholarship to attend Northwestern
Courtney Rundel, a graduate of Placer High School, has been awarded one scholarship to attend Northwestern Oklahoma State University during the 2016-2017 academic year.
Rundel will receive the Freshmen Incentive Scholarship, which is funded through the Alva economic development sales tax incentive.
Rundel plans to study psychology while attending Northwestern.
