Tostada Bingo this Saturday at the Loomis Memorial Hall is a Soroptimist International of Loomis Basin fundraiser for education projects benefiting women and girls.
The Loomis Soroptimists support Koinonia Foster Homes’ female youth through the Soroptimist International Dream It Be It career exploration program. The club also provides scholarships, gives grants to elementary school teachers in the Loomis basin, and supports the Senior L.I.F.E. center. Additionally, the club supports international projects that benefit women and girls through social and economic empowerment.
Saturday’s Tostada Bingo tickets are $30 each and available at the Loomis Basin Chamber of Commerce (6090 Horseshoe Bar Road), from club members and by calling 916-652-7252. Some tickets might be available at the door.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the event begins at 6 p.m. Saturday. Dinner includes shredded beef tostada dinner with non-alcoholic drink and dessert. A no-host bar will be open. Entry includes Bingo game packets and dauber. Additional packets can be bought.
Looms Memorial Hall is at 5945 Horseshoe Bar Road.
