New dog groomer comes to LoomisBy: Brody Fernandez Of Gold Country Media
Hayley Stoner of Loomis is a new dog groomer at Aunt Cynthia’s Bed and Biscuit Inn at 3190 Swetzer Road, Loomis.
“I have been working with animals for 11 years now. For five of those years, I have been dog grooming,” Stoner said. “I have always loved dogs since I was young.”
After being a professional salon manager at Petco for several years, Stoner said, she opened her own business.
“I was lucky to find an amazing boarding and daycare facility in Loomis: Aunt Cynthia's Bed and Biscuit Inn. It’s a great place to open my salon out of,” Stoner said. “I'm a completely cage-free grooming salon to go with the environment of the facility.”
Prices start at $25 for small dogs and $75 for larger dogs, according to Stoner.
“It’s like two minutes from my house and it’s just so convenient,” said Loomis resident Nancy Ucovich said. “I take my dog, Tucker, to Hayley and will be doing so from here on out. I think she does a really good job. She’s really thorough and my dog, Tucker, always comes home clean and very happy.”
Another loyal customer and Loomis resident, Jeanne Lebastchi, said her dog, Gracie, loves getting groomed and her favorite spot is Aunt Cynthia's Bed and Biscuit Inn.
“My Cavalier King Charles Gracie has been lucky to be groomed by Hayley for more than five years,” Lebastchi said.
Her dog has special needs, Lebastchi said.
“My dog has sensitive skin and Hayley uses just the right shampoo and is gentle on brushing and clipping nails,” Lebastchi said. “ Hayley is also keen on spotting areas a dog should be seen for by a vet.”
