17-year-old stabbed near 3rd and R Streets

A 17-year-old Lincoln resident was found Monday afternoon with several lacerations to his arm near the intersection of 3rd and R Streets, according to police. Officers responded to the scene at 4 p.m. Monday after receiving report of a stabbing victim, according to a Lincoln Police Department press release. When officers arrived, the 17-year-old was found lying on the sidewalk, semi-conscious with several lacerations to his arm, according to police. The youth was transported to Sutter Roseville Hospital by ambulance, police said. The incident is under investigation according to police, with no suspects and no motive for the stabbing known at this time.
